Alternative to Dynamat
In my experience I like Extreme Dynamat much more than the Orginal. Extreme does not have the odor of plastics and bends much more easily into sharp corners. Took me about 1/2 to do my doors top to bottom, using the Orginal I didn't even try some of the deep grooves. Also Extreme requires less preping, just clean and stick, the Orginal failed on me in dusty areas like door skins. Extreme can also bend in cooler weather, Orginal needed to be warmed up before bending.
Downside is the cost. Extreme is also very messy since it's using a tar like material instead of a glue like the Orginal. Make sure to not get it on your shoes or you'll track the tar all over your house, and car.

i have heard a lot of good things about raammat...i myself used bquiet extreme on my car. i bought the i think 75 sq ft or something i don't remember. i matted from under my back seat to the end of the hatch with two layers throughout the whole thing. it came out really good. stinky for the first week tho. damn tar. i also did a layer on my doors and then added a layer of dynamat xtreme that i had laying around over that. Then i used dynaliner which is a acoustical foam material that blocks road noise with open cell structure or something like that...i have gotten a lot of comments on how quiet my car is now. the only noise i get in from the firewall
