Default anyone got experience with Dynamat?

A friend of mine is giving me a cat-back GReddy exhaust for FREE in swap for my stock CRX Si exhaust. Pretty cool, huh? It's in great condition. But...

It's got a silencer on it, so it's not super loud, but I'd still like to make the cabin a little quieter. Anyone got experience putting down Dynamat? I wanna put a layer in the trunk, and possibly some under the carpet. How much work it is? thanks

I put some down in my old car around my door speakers, to push the sound out more, and it was easy to put in. Easy as 1-2-3.

It's really expensive, but rip everything out, lay it down, and put everything back in. The bigger the panel, the more sound deadening you'll get.

yea yea, i know, but at 0.3 pounds per square foot, the very most I'll add is 10 pounds. All I gotta do is hit the gym for a week, and those 10 pounds are compensated for

It's easy to lay down. Just go get a roller so that you can press it on and get it into all the grooves. You may wanna consider some type of spray foam. I have layed dynamat in a 91, 92, 95 civic. no problem.
