Default stock keyless entry ?

i'm getting ready to purchase a viper alarm system. i have a '98 civic ex and was wondering if i could have them hook up the stock keyless entry to the viper and not have to get that feature in the viper alarms system so i can save $50. well i'm going to put that right back into a backup battery. but i'm doing that regardless so i guess i'd still be saving money.

well, which viper model? i think the lowest 300esp model will work...all you need is like 2 cheapy relays.

if you buy a better model, more than likely, the relays will already be built in for door locking control. so all the installer needs to do is wire it up (which should be pretty simple).

alright sounds good, thats what i was hoping to hear. if anyone doesnt agree with this please post soon. i'm gong to be buying it after work today so i need to know for sure. that way they cant be like "oh it wont work" when in reality it could....figuratively speaking. i dont want to spend and extra $50 on something thats already compatible in the car.

go to www.directed.com

it looks like the 600 has built in doorlocking but the 300/500 will need additional relays.
