Default 2000 Civic SI Keyless Entry and Stock Alaem

I recently purchased a SI but it came with no remote. The guy said supposivly that the alarm got tooken out but I'm not too sure about that one. Is there any way to check if it still has the stock OEM alarm of keyless entry components.. Where would they be.. thanks. please dont flame if this sounds like a stupid question.

If you dont have the remote, you will have to go to the dealership to get the new one programmed. They will tell you if you have the alarm in there. Im pretty sure you cant program it yourself, unfortunately.

The horn looking thing is suprisingly enough, the horn. I know this because my Eg did not come with a stock alarm and I do have that horn, which sits in the engine bay. However, the alarm system unit is ussually located behind the kick-panel on the drivers side, unfortunately thats as much as I know about alarms.

i believe the stock keyless entry system is built into the stock radio.
