Default ignition kill help

hey everyone, i recently bought a carbine alarm system. it has ignition kill. i was wondering if the thieves can still steal the car even though the alarm has an ignition kill? the car won't start unless the alarm is unengaged.

My alarm has an ignition kill too and the way it works is that when the alarm is activated, sirens and all, the engine will just turn over. but wut's so stupid is that if the car thief manages to find my kill switch and deactivate the alarm, my car's gone!! haha
