Help on an old Accord
The little stopper thing I was talking about is right above the brake pedal. Actually, it is part of the brake pedal, a couple of inches above where you put your foot to press the pedal. There is a little hole in the bar that is supposed to have a rubber stopper in it, and it would push in a little switch to turn the brake lights off. It is exactly like the little button that is between the door hindges that turns off the inside lights on the car. It just needs something to push it in to break the connection, so I had just taped a penny right over the hole and never had a problem with it again. Seems like a long explanation for such a simple thing, but I tend to try to get into as much detail as possible. Hope it helps you.
Thanks i will look for it in the morning, im in los angeles. was your problem with the tail lights or the brake lights ? my problem is with the tail lights. thanks again! will let you know what happens tomorrow
