I am on a high right now. let me tell you why. after reading this thread i was motivated to do the mod. i called a honda dealership yesterday and they gave me the phone number to the parts department of a local acura dealership. so with the parts number provided by shonnv i ordered the parts. this morning they called me at 8 a.m. and told me the parts were in and i could pick them up. i took my car to get exterior detailed at a body shop today. i dropped it off in the morning and my friend picked me up. we then went to acura dealership and i picked up my parts. it came out to 49$ total including tax. i picked up my car from the body shop at around 330 p.m. and i gotta say that they did an amazing job, the car looks brand new. i then took my freshly waxed and polished car home and installed the sway bar in minutes. i drove it around and i noticed a big difference. today was a good day.

oh and i got one more question. is that rear sway bar for a TL-S or an 04 TL. cuz i know they dont make TL-S right now so that means that the sway bar is either from an older model or a new model. im just curious cuz i want to know exactly what it is i just installed in my car.
ok one more question regarding that link for that thread. on the thread there is a couple people who talk bad about installing the sway bar. im a little worried now. am i gonna roll off the freeway or am i gonna lose control in the rain? help

no no no. unless you do an extreme yank in a direction on your steering wheel, you will be fiiiine. like that other thread mentions, accords in general understeer by the norm. adding the sway bar will not cause your car to lose control, unless you go nuts yourself. dont be worried about flipping over or fishtailing if you plan on driving like a responsible, thinking human being.

The swqay bar you installed is for an 04 TL not the TL-S and Iam glad you like it. It only give better handling even in rain. Different people have different opinions but they are only theoritical since they didnt actualy install it. If you drive like realy crazy then its a different thing other than that its better than the stock.

Next thing Iam doing is installing "Accord V6 6SP" front strut reinforcement. I will post a DIY this time for sure about it.

You're welcome
Let us know if you see any improvement from the strut reinforcement. FYI, my sway is from a "TL manual trans." which is supposed to be larger than a run-of-the-mill TL.

As for the safety issue I can tell all of you that in the 13 months it's been on my car I've had zero issues with control, and I've tested it pretty well if you know what I mean. Of course when it rains I don't drive like an idiot so I can't comment on that.

all accords understeer when pushed, unless you do something to change that. the way my suspension is setup i can get the thing to oversteer pretty easily, i have to be careful with it sometimes. but it will understeer still too...i remember when i installed my eibach front and rear sways the rear went on with no problems, that front one was a BITCH to get in and out tho. being on your back on concrete for 2 hours isn't the most pleasent feeling in the world, but it was worth it. on 7th gens i think you've got to drop the frame to get the front one out. on 6th gens it runs under the frame so it's all good.

The stock bar on the front of my 7th gen. sedan is big enough that I'd never go to the trouble get a bigger one. I measured my bars with calipers:

Stock Front 1.005" thick (25.5mm)
Stock Rear .553" (14mm)
TL man. Rear .790" (20mm)

What size does the 6th gen. have front/rear?

The rear is 16, I measured it when I replaced my rear sway bar with a 19mm TL-S bar. Not sure on the front, but I'm thinking around 22-23 or so sounds right.
