Default TL Sway Bar installed.

Hey guys, I've just installed my rear TL sway bar today and man its the best mod ever for 30 bucks. Well I got lucky, the dealer qouted me $67 for the whole thing but some guy was selling a slightly used one for $20(shipped) and I bought the Bushings and the brackets for $10 from a local dealership.

Its pretty easy to install, took me about an hour and I did it without lifting the car. It fits real good, clear from anything on my V6 and damn the car is handling good.

Sorry couldnt take any pictures cause I did it at night but will post some pictures later. If anyone is insterested in a DIY, just drop me an email at shon.nv@gmail.com or just send me a PM. Cheers

it makes the handling feel more neutral, it gets rid of a lot of the understeer.

you must drive like a crazy basturd to get a understeer from regular driving h:
it's stiffer, so it doesn't give as much body roll as the stock accord's sway bar's would.

after installing it, I took it to a test drive, felt the ride a bit smoother on uneven roads. I can make sharp 20mhp turn on 35-40mhp and making a u-turn is alot easier. V6 cars are heavier than the 4cyl and I do feel a big difference.

All the accord do understeer as far as I know. I bought a coupe over a sedan cause I do drive crazy sometimes and I wanted the sportier look and feel.
Not only the Sway bar is thicker and stiffer, it is totaly different in the design thus provides a good response. here is a picture(courtesy of "mrksts")

top one it the TL and bottom is the stock

Yes you can install it on a 4cyl as well.

The parts numbers of all the things you need are:
Sway Bar: 52300-SEP-A11
Holders: 52308-S3M-A00
Bushings: 52306-SEP-A11

Here is a DIY: http://syclone.motocrew.com/CG5/swaybar.htm

It pretty easy to do, once you go under the car, you will see the sway bar and where it is connected. Make sure you have all the tools and someone to help you pass the tools.
