If you did sustain that much damage, you can actually submit a formal complaint to the city and explain to them what happened. It's their job to keep the roads safely paved. You have a good chance of getting money back for the damages. A buddy of mine hit a pothole in Orange County, CA, bent one of his 18" BBS wheels, submitted a complaint to the city, and was compensated for the damages. Good luck

I was in the same situation of having ALL my rims bent by a darn road construction and the contractor would not admit the fault. I was of course very frustrated and looked at approx. $1200 replacement cost out of my pocket for the rims...

WheelBenderMender.com was an inexpensive solution for about $490 to get ALL 4 bent wheels fixed. Check them out.

actually... hitting a pothole can cause serious damage to your suspension... i've even seen rotors jarred loose... cracked strut mounts... and shocks that were totally blown out... make sure you get your car on a lift and give it a good lookin at... you'll be glad you did...

Could bad shocks lead to a change in alignment? I recently had an alignment on my 96' EX V6 and the guy got all of the other wheels aligned except the rear passenger side wheel.
