go with the 4300k bulbs if you want the s2000 look. I had done a retro fit in my old civic a while back with s2000 projectors and it looked awesome. S2000's and the TL's both use 4300k bulbs.

go to this site to discuss hid stuff and retro fitting. thats all the members on this site do......http://www.network54.com/Forum/216460

I know this was already answered. The reflector is designed to hold that HID beam, but i'd like to add that the bulb is different from Projector bulbs. Reflector HID's use D2R (such as those in the last generation TL's, IS300's, G35's., and projectors use D2S ( such as the one shown above with the retrofit, BMW's, Benz.) Just be on the lookout which one you buy.

I think once you go above 8000k they get a bit purplish...........

Mine from a distance have a blue/ white tint to it.
They arent as blue as you would see an 8000k bulb.

its funny cause the philips 6000k bulbs I had were a bit purple.
Now with these Eagle Eye 6000k bulbs I have they are a bit blue.

I guess it depends on the manufactor

what I mean by retro is that you get a set of BMW projectors, Audi projectors, Acura projectors, or Evo projectors(whatever car company makes a projector), and you mod a set of headlights to make the projector fit and work properly. the pictures I posted were Evo projectors modded to fit an accord housing. the beam pattern will look as nice as a factory HID setup.
