I would recommend you stick with somewhere between 4000-4300k. 6000k looks too purple. the higher the number the more the color changes but output decreases. 99% of cars with oem hid are 4300k. philips has made 5000k bulbs to replace the 4300k but not sure if there is a huge difference.
I think once you go above 8000k they get a bit purplish...........
Mine from a distance have a blue/ white tint to it.
They arent as blue as you would see an 8000k bulb.
its funny cause the philips 6000k bulbs I had were a bit purple.
Now with these Eagle Eye 6000k bulbs I have they are a bit blue.
I guess it depends on the manufactor
