My main. req. light came on (because i needed to change the oil). So i changed the oil, but it didnt go off. Someone told me there was a button or something to turn it off, is that true?

bleh, i worked at the Honda dealership and I don't remember...hmmm it goes something like this:

you know that button on your gauge that resets your Fuel Mileage? Well, I think you turn on your car to Accessory (START II) meaning don't turn on the engine, hold onto the button, and shut off the car again while you're holding down the button. Continue holding it down until it goes out. I might be slightly wrong though because I haven't done this in awhile.

This is sad, this is in the owners manual, if your car is used and it is missing you can get one from www.helminc.com they stock all literature books for the Accord.

Owners Manual should be 10-20bucks, while your at it get the service manual too, if you plan to do anykinds of mods it is a must.

Needless to say I have people ask me how to turn this off all the time, I refuse to show them--if you are to GD lazy to read the owners manual I don't care, it's not in the glove box for looks.
