Default Hatch Open Warning Light?

I actually don't know how long it hasn't been working, but I guess there is supposed to be a light that turns on if your hatch isn't closed all the way (98 Integra)??
Kinda like the Door Ajar warning light... but my hatch light doesn't light up... what do you think is wrong? I'm thinking either a fuse blew (unlikely since the Door Ajar's work) or the wire came loose. Does anyone know what wire(s) sets off the warning light? Is it a harness of some sort that attaches to the rear hatch lock?

look for the button that senses the door. take a test light to see if it still works.

where is the button that senses the rear hatch? is it actually a button or it's built into the latch mechanism of the hatch?

im pretty sure its a button like thing. check the areas where the hatch would make contact with the car only when closes.
