New Accord vs TSX
[QUOTE=Rex-MiniMe]Yes the Accord has more power, but it just lacked that original Honda feel, sound, and look. The K20's sound very nice at high RPMs, the interior just blasts you away with all the available options and luxury, and of course with that luxury came the famous Honda handling power.QUOTE]
Isn't the TSX engine the k24?

For whatever my opinion is worth, I'd give the edge to the TSX.
For me, what a car feels like when I'm driving it has more to do with my choices, and the TSX just feels better than the Accord 6.

TSX owner here. I'd say go sit in the TSX and take it for a spin. Like a bunch of posters here said, there's no competition once you are actually in it. Anyone flat out saying the Accord V6 is better is only looking at engine specs and is missing out on the entire package, and probably hasn't drove one. Take them out to see yourself.
I've driven a TSX, I've driven an accord v6 6sp with $1K in suspension. The accord was roomier(if you're 5'2" the tsx is ok), more comfortable, the highway passing isn't even funny, or if the 1/4 isn't impressive then coming out of apex in the middle of 3rd gear with some torque will, in the twisties with mere set of springs, shocks, and a mild drop the accord felt FAR better than the TSX. Styling? Accord sedan versus TSX the TSX wins, but Coupe versus TSX and it's the Av6 coupe all the way. Someone mentioned navigation weighing more...I take craps that weigh more than adding navigation. The specs are identical whether it's with navi or not on both. To me, between those two, it comes down to whether you want a sedan or coupe. Sedan = TSX or TL, Coupe = Accord. Another thing to consider. The TSX is 200hp with at least 90octane, you cannot put less in it period, so think of your cost over the year. With an accord you can use 87 octane and get your 240hp or use 91 octane and get 252hp(as said by car and driver, this only pertains to 7th V6 accord). Personally I see FAR more TSXs here in san jose than I ever see accord with the little red badge, so I dont know how unique you'de be. I've seen a total of 4 accord V6 6spds(and driven one of those) since they came out. There are just as many if not more TSXs sitting in the company garage right now(I counted a quick 3 at lunch, but there's one girl out sick today that owns one so theres at least 4). If you're truely not that hung up on performance, go test drive a 325i, it eats TSXs for snacks in the twisties, and hangs pretty good in the straights, low 16s, and interior?? the tsx can't touch a bmw in that arena.
Anyhow it doesn't matter what people think, get what you want. Whatever makes you happy, it's your car, so what do you need anyone else's opinion for?

BTW, navi adds abou 20 pounds. Might wanna get your internals checked out.
i've done a lot of research between the accord and TSX.. turns out the suspension is the SAME.. so all u guys saying the accord is better its actually not.. they are the same!! They use the same part numbers for the springs, as far as shocks go no aftermarket has started to make them yet. Accord is more powerful but yet its a V6 with a heavier engine. I personally would love the TSX beacause of the styling and the refinements of the interior, and definatly pick the one with the navigation. HIDs are standard with the TSX and after a few mods i'm sure it wont be hard to keep up with an Accord in the 1/4
TSX, add the turbo with the intercooler, forget about the specs of the Av6, and you now have a car worth being called HONDA-ACURA.
Its got Hids, a nav. system, most luxury cars come with a nice sound system, etc...
Why would the TSX not be able take 87 octane. Wait if you got the money to buy a brand new TSX, why put anything less than 91 octane!

Personal preference. It seems more logical to me to get the Accord EXV6 6 spd. When fully loaded it has almost all of the goodies that a TSX does and it's faster. Oh I'm also partial to two doors.
