hey if the salesman was being a dick jump ship and find a different dealership ... no reason why he should make a commision if you arent satisfied with his service.

see, if only honda had done the right thing and given us the TSX as the accord in the first place (with the right interior, and 240hp engine) we'd never have to have these discussions. I'd go with the TSX. After im done building my 6th gen im buying a TSX and turning it back into an accord so i'll have a 6th gen and a real 7th gen...that'll be great...hopefully by then a TSX type S will be out with at least 240hp

huh doesnt the 7gen accord coupe v6 6speed has 270hp? tsx looks weak compare to the accord, i would say, the new TL or Accord.

the Accord V6 is rated at 240hp. i'd be surprised if 200 of those actually made it to the wheels.

The TL has 270, the Accord has 240. I have test drove a new V6 Accord and the TSX with my step dad. We enjoyed them both, but we were pretty impressed by the accords stock 1/4 mile time rating of 14.5sec with an average driver with experience, thats better than a stock GT mustang. Then when it came to the TSX, it just blew the accord out of the water. Yes the Accord has more power, but it just lacked that original Honda feel, sound, and look. The K20's sound very nice at high RPMs, the interior just blasts you away with all the available options and luxury, and of course with that luxury came the famous Honda handling power. Wow, the TSX felt like it handled even better than a RSX type S, and had the most advanced sensativity like a 98+ Type R. Then it comes to future mods, and actually there are many more bolt ons, internals, and turbo apps for the TSX than the new Accord. Whats this I hear you sayin you were thinkin about buying a new jetta? Not a good idea, there has been more factory defects and recalls than any other company with VW, and I like VW's. But when they compare to the nature of a Honda, the japanese kinda kick there ass. No offense to Dubs lovers, I love the new R32.
First choice- TSX
2nd choice- Accord v6 6 speed
3rd choice if you dont have one yet- EVO 8 he he he
4th choice- '04 S2K :: 2.2 litre, new pretty design, better handling, MORE MONEY!

handling may better, but whose going to keep the suspension stock either car. the high redline, no torque, and waiting till VTEC kicks in gets tired after awhile. the torque of the V6 is just so much better. personally, i'm getting a WRX for my next car though. up here in NH AWD just makes so much sense plus the turbo makes it have a powerband like a V6.

..and i have an H22 under the hood so i know what it likes to rev high.

my initially considered a v6 accord but it had to be sedan so not manual v6 accord

it came down to the maxima, mazda6 and the tsx...tsx was not as powerful but it was so much better equipped and built (the mazda was unimpressive except for its handling...the v6 accord and maximas destroyed it in power)

the tsx is also a more rare vehicle which is a plus for us

damn though choice. if it was the accord I4 vs TSX then TSx for sure. but v6 6speed vs tsx. up to you man. but IF i had to choose i would go for the TSX. i rather have luxury vs performance.
