their headunit is suppose to have high output, but i didnt fine any info about it...you know like alpine has 60x4 and sony 52x4.
anybody know what eclipse's are ?

their stuff are cool though, i;d get it if i have the $$$$$$$$ hehehee
Im not exactly sure what thier ratings are, try www.fujitsu_ten.com or some variation of that and you will come across the eclipse website. Just wondering why head unit power is so important to you though? If it is higher than either of the ones you mentioned above, its not gonna be by much.

Nah I was talking about what he could do in his situation to get the most sound. These Pioneer 4-way 6x9s have great mids and highs as well.

First I had 4 speakers and an amp, then 4 speakers, 2 amps and a sub, then I upgraded the rear fill and the speaker amp.

Oh yeah, it's an SQ setup too. :fawk:

Wow! Thanks for all the replies. I'm not looking to make a awesome sound system, just something better than my OEM stuff. By that I mean the most im prolly gonna do is replace the front and back speakers (skip the components for now), and i guess it would probably be good to get a 4 channel amp or something? cuz my head unit only puts out like 40 watts. I don't know alot about sound systems so all this help is appreciated. When my bro gets a new car, i will also be getting his 2 10 inch rockford punch subs, with a punch amp. So i will be getting those for free.

And i like the idea of getting both front and back for 200 so what do guys think about this setup.

A pair of these in the front -http://www.carstereotime.com/infinity/62.html

And even tho the back uses 6.5 inch speakers, i can fit some 6x9 like these- http://www.carstereotime.com/infinity/6953i.html

That would add up to about $200 with shipping from that website. Altho i prolly could get it a little cheaper off ebay. What do you guys think of my choices?

guys, I havent got any subs or amps yet in the car....
just 60x4 from the HU.

which rear speaker is better, 3 way or 2 way ?

I know 3 way will get me mid-bass, but 2 way give more powerful bass --> according to Circuit City guy heheheeh

So let me know all your opinions

if you arent gonna get an amp right away, go with the 2 ways coax. You most likely won't get a crossover with those and won't need an amp to get clean sound from them. 60x4 from the HU is fine for your average set of coax speakers. 3 way is def better, but only if you can afford the amp you need.
