^^ in reference to the original poster

i think i'm creating more confusion that solution

but like i said to weiman, take it on a downhill run if you can find one long enough and see where it governs out....it seems like you are having trouble getting to max speed on flat land

I have a 95 lx no-tec and with my larger wheel diameter I have hit 130. So doing the math on that, I know that the gas cut-off is at 125 in my car.

If i was a cop I'd be following you all for speeding tickets. Also. i'd print out this thread as evidence.

On my 02 sedan 4cyl. I've topped out at 125 and thats with luggage in my trunk driving north on 95.

Since when can a governed vehicle reach 135-137 when it maxes out at 140?
Arent the 6th gen accords governed at like 125-130"?

I've never owned any 5 speeds but ive driven a few; i was curious to know why it is you should do your max speed in 4th. Wouldn't you run a higher risk of blowing your engine due to higher rpms vs in 5th?

beats me, maybe but not sure cuz my cars dropped as far as it could go and i got a long distance to run. but it dropping doesn't really do as much accept gives it better aerodynamics.
