I have a 01' EX 4 Cyl with just Mid Ram 9inch filter intake got it up to 142mph gov kicked in and just slowed me down and then sped back up back and fourth couldnt go any faster on a straight flat land...racing a Nissan Sentra apprently he has no Gov.. he passed me doing 162mph

Make sure to keep that crazy stuff on the track not the hwy. A lot of cars can go 140 (at least on the speedo), but we don't do it for reason.

 

Wow. This thread is like a year old and I'm only four posts away from my previous post.

Anyways, my RSX's 5th ends about 128MPH (~8300RPM) and it'll pull to 140 in 6th and then crap out.

You should feel the 5th gear pull though....

(Also, I have a Jackson Racing 'Race' Header (with supplied Jackson 'test' pipe, defouler to keep CEL off) but I don't want to change my sig. Apparently I can't use the .[.quote.]. tag anymore so in protest my sig lives forever)
