From the dealer those bolts are $11.00 a piece plus tax! Definitely use antiseize when you can!
I think mine were $4

I have done a couple friend's cars and it came right off. On my own and most of my friend's cars, it was a bitch. If you are not replacing the struts and are only doing the springs, you can remove enough bolts to other pieces down there, push the strut towards the outside of the wheelwell and remove and replace the springs without the hassle of that bolt.

Ahh... that bolt is notorious for being stripped. Be careful!

The goal is not to break it Torch the nut till its red hot then try to get the bolt out using a wrench. Once it breaks free you'll know if you need to cut it out or not. It will either break free from the nut or snap. You will be able to tell. It takes alot of elbow grease to get it out even after it breaks free. Good luck!

if you can get it unscrewed a bit, a punch an a hammer will probably get it out if its stuck in the hole (not in the theads)

I have another thing to say....the nut that is on the other side of the shock....that the bolt screws into....we got that off....its supposed to be welded on...(didn't know that) i have new shocks...so should we just undo that bolt and just knock the **** outta that bolt?

If you got the nut off thats welded to the strut you can just take a hammer and knock the bolt through you might have to use a punch and a hammer once you have it almost out.

:werd: You're in luck if you were able to get those nuts off. That's the only part that's really threaded so provided the bolt isn't fused to the metal sleeve in there, you're good to go.

It's punch and hammer time. Be careful but give it a good whack!
