I just don't like how people flame what others do. Negative comments are fine, but when you start making fun of someone for doing something they like with their car, that's just too much. I hate it. But I guess there is nothing I can do about, so I should just shut the hell up. I am expecting yet another negative comment from 18sec on that too.

Hey man, If you think I'm slamming you then you then that's sad. I'm justs stating my opinion. I know you did not ask for it but people rarely do so I just give it anyway. I am more than willing to help anyone who wants to make their car a speed machine but I have never and will never understand modifying a car with "peformance mods" that are not even performance mods. It's just a pet peeve(sic?). And this board is as real world as it gets. Some people get along (as my fellow San Antonian and I do) and some don't. I don't rag on anyone here anymore than I rag on my friends in real life. Hell, my best friend bought a new Prelude over the weekend and ordered alteeza's last night. I gave him a good thrashing but if he wants Alteeza's then, hey, it's his money. And expect assholes like me to take pot shots at your girl just get a rise out of you. As for the busted chops... DISH IT OUT AND TAKE IT. It's a fact of life. You should expect this in a competitive forum. I'll also try to help you as I pick on you, and if you can't take it, put your tools back in your purse, and call your boyfriend to pick you up. If you can weed out the fact from opinion and take make the best of what's presented to you no matter how rudely it's presented, then you'll get everything out of these replies that you need. Geez, some people get so sensitive. Have a sense of humor.

If you aren't getting the answer you want, it doesn't mean the answers you get are wrong.

I say: Don't cut your car up if you don't have to. It's less than 1 hp. It's your car's re-sale value at stake. Sounds like damn good advice to me, and almost everyone here has reinforced it already. EOT!

I don't mind people saying I shouldn't do it, and I already decided not to. I don't want to cut a hole in my car. I just wish people wouldn't be an asshole about it. And just out of curiousity, why the hell are my headlight's "ricey"? Whatever, I like 'em, and I don't give a **** what you think.

 

Also, I don't care if my car is slow. I know it is, but I'm still happy with it for not. I don't see the point in pouring thousands and thousands of dollars into a cheap car like a civic to make it run quick 1/4 mile times. I don't get it. I want my car to look nice, but if it's not quick, that's fine.
