Do what you want but no poor quality items will ever be found in my cars. And I don't mean get items that everyone says are good quality, do some research. I used to pay 10 bucks each for mobil 1 filters until I did some research and found that since I change my oil so often, I can use the el cheapo ones from autozone just the same. My first set of rims were 16" $90.00 Konig Octanes on BFG Euro's (lower quality tire suppossedly) that still sit in my garage today unscathed and look good as new. My cousin has been through two pairs of racing harts and Nitto's on his RSX due to bending (without hitting anything irregular) and finally settled for a pair of Velox VXk 18's with Parada's that have not bent at all. I told him Velox was bullshit and would still bend with his harsh susp. but it shows what I know about Velox.

but hey its your car not mine.. so do whatever you want.. you have to make yourself happy.. not me:thumbup:
I did look at those before I got the ones I have, and I did like them, but I think at the time the projectors were cheaper. How much is a set of those type r headlights?

Are you happy with your headlights? Keep them if the answer is yes. Don't do stuff to YOUR car for other people.

I hate the look of the stock intake and I want either short ram or cold air so it looks a little nicer. Since there is no hole for cold air, short ram sounds fine to me. Since I could get one off ebay for like 20 bucks. Hmmm.... When ever I get 2000 dollars I guess I'll look at my stereo too. I don't have much right now. Just some infinity speakers up front, and an amp and sub. Nothing really great though. Okay...I'm going to try to be open minded here, why are my headlights ricey? And what should I replace them with if I'm going to? other than my stock ones that I still have.

Weren't you asking before about the DIY CTR headlights? I'd recomend that. Here's mine.. so you can an idea of how they look on black. But.. my car is a 2000 not a 98. Hope this helped. Good luck.

I was extremly happy with this mod because it's very subtle.. yet looks very hot IMO

I do like the look of the projectors, but they don't fit quite right, they stick out a little, and they have started to leak, I think I might have cracked one of them when I installed it. I was thinking of trying to open my stock ones up and painting them like that. But how much were those, and what is DIY? I do like those though. They look really sweet.

Jafro your crazy... Chris they are like Hyenas I keep telling people this, they flock on you and then rip u apart do whatever in the hell u wanna do. If u wanna stick a friggin cone air filter on your intake manifold go ahead, but u are just kicking yourself in the ass in the long run. I have realized this after some of my so called mods, now i am attempting to fix... take it easy and get some bump in the trunk!

I have done that. I actually bought a new amp from my brother yesturday. The new infinity d class. I am going to use that for my jl 12. I have a kenwood now I'm going to use for the main speakers. I just got infinity reference in the rear and have some up front. So it should sound good.

DIY = Do it yourself. A little elbow grease, and an oven.

Cost me about .... 8 bux in spray paint.

No.. seriously... if you go to the Do It Yourself Forum in the forum menu... look for DIY CTR headlights. That will explain everything you have to do.
