For the record, you're running my 1/4 mile MPH already. I hit a 13.50 with a 1.74 60 foot. I'd love to see your car run because that's hella fast for a 4-banger.

So is 13.89 in a all motor CRX... !!! <-way to go redcivic!

wow 1.74? was that on full slicks, and is your eclipse GSX cause that sounds more like an AWD launch to me.

I'd be happy with a 1.9 60 foot with a 101 trap which should net me a solid 13 second e.t

Yes. It's a GSX (in my signature). No, I was on NITTO radials. I have a loaded gearbox from www.teamrip.com with lots of stainless steel EVO goodies, and extra synchros.

Other than the gearbox, and an ACT 2600 clutch, I've got less than $800 in upgrades. A warranty bought my gearbox (not me), and keep in mind that gears don't make you faster if the ratios don't change... The tranny was broken when I bought it and had to be fixed. But this freakin' 2.0L runs 13's on the factory engine, fuel system, intercooler, and exhaust. The factory stereo is pretty cool, too, and I'm diggin' the leather. I picked it up 2 years ago on the 26th for $7k.

Here's what I did to it last year on my birthday (turbo swap). This car is what made me buy a Honda. I needed something reliable to drive when I don't need to go really freakin' fast. A 320hp car is real impractical for the morning commute where I live, and I'm always trying to break it at the track. You can tell by my 60 foot time. That was a 5200 RPM launch.

OOT! Here's a good one. This was on 6/20, the day before my birthday. It took me 2 days to swap it which included stripping the parts off a donor car.

I swear I'll never do this again here. That's it for off topic cars. If a moderator deletes these, that's okay because I don't want to piss anyone off.

Jafro, yes, all motor, my civic coupe has been very inconsistant with a best of 13.26 partially gutted. Ever since a couple of months ago i have not been able to break below a 13.4 and I don't know why. Tuning is key and I have probably spent about $1,000.00 on the dyno over the last year or so tuning an udpgrading shit. I really need a honda data or Tec -III I actually almost bought a 99' GSX but I really want a 93' or so GSX. I am patiently waiting until I find a really unabused one. DSM's can make loads of power for far less money. Tranny realiability is definately the first thing I address if get a TSI or GSX. I'm at a point where I'm growing tired of dumping money into my coupe but I want to break 12's bad and to do that I have to address expensive traction issues. Oh, an Ferio Man, I'm not hating, I'm just stating that I don't believe it. I have to see it to believe it when it comes to incredible times. I once saw a stock type-R run a 14.2 so abnormalities do occur.
