this one!
YOU ARE BIDDING ON A FULLY PROGRAMED AND CHIPPED p28 SPOON SPORTS RACE ECU.(NOT JUST CHIPPED LIKE EVERONE ELSE!!) EVERY PERFORMANCE PART ON YOUR CAR WILL GAIN POWER FROM THIS ECU BECUASE IT WILL LEARN YOUR CAR AND DETERMINE HOW TO RUN IT BEST FOR MORE POWER!!!! THIS IS PERFECT FOR STREET / STRIP USE. THISECU IS DIRECT FIT FOR 92-95 HONDA/ACURA. (96+ will need OBD1 conversion harness $75, email me) .THIS ECU IS IDEAL FOR 92-95 CIVIC VTEC THIS ECU HAS:

UPGRADED AIR/FUEL RATIO

ADVANCED TIMING

VTEC ENGAGEMENT@ 5000rpm's FOR 5-SPEED TRANS
REV LIMITER@ 9000 rpm's FOR 5-SPEED TRANS
VTEC ENGAGEMENT@4400rpm's FOR AUTO TRANS

Do a search, and you'll get a ton of info. The UR pulley is not a damper.

Also, I forgot something else important. If you're going to use a d16y8 oil pump, you should look into porting it. The d16y8's are known to have oiling issues. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the write-up on Endyn's website right now.
Misconception on the oiling issues, it's not really an oiling issue, it's an electronic timming issue that people don't compensate for & run the same timing as other d-series motors and then they are actually detonating the motor and causing stress to the bearings. When it's all said & done, and the thing blows up, they have spun & abused rod bearings & ASSume that it's an oiling issue. There is tons of info on this, you just have to really dig for it.

Yea, you can other than the vtec components that need to be added to the ecu to support a p28 map, coz when it tries to engauge vtec and finds that the components arn't on the board, it's just gonna throw a cell & not engauge.

i've seen direct flow rate comparisons on the y8 pump. it is not nearly as efficient as a z6. neither are the journal ports on the crank

granted the z6 pump is a stronger & better pump, that doesn't make the y8 one problematic. It's the tuning issue that causes people to believe that it's insufficient. Their timing is off and they are pounding the rods against the crank, the bearings happen to be in between the two, they get smashed, extra friction causes heat, they get abused like this long enough they spin, people hear rod knock, they tear down & see the heat problem & blame it on the pump.

Competent tuners don't have problems with the y8's.

yeah, i don't doubt that tuning has a factor in it. most setups that fail, fail because of a tune. but you can't argue that having a less efficient pump is better or as good. it's always beneficial to be safe than sorry. you leave your self less of a window of safety. hope that made sense.

Excuse my ignorance, but wouldn't that hold true for any engine?
