Default GSR Brake Swap Completed!....almost

I just finished putting GSR front and back brakes on my 95 CX HB. Everything is all fitted together and I bled the system, however on my first test drive after the mods I'm getting some wierd results. First of all when I pump the brakes when the engine is on, my engine starts dropping and gaining revs right around 1000-1500 RPM. Also I'm hearing a hissing noise under the hood in the general area of the new GSR master cylinder and brake booster I installed. Lastly, my brakes don't work! The brake pedal is all smooshy and my car can't stop worth crap. Other then that, I'd give myself an A+ on this DIY mod
Anybody had any similar experiences to these, especially to you other brake swap people. Thanks

Well, I'm glad you were able to install the brakes, But if your car is having some problems, I don't know if I would give myself an A+. Anyways, Check yyour master cylinder/brake booster again, because the hissing noise should be coming from there, could be the hoses too. torque everything to spec. Also, bleed the system again, if it is smooshy, something is not right.
When I installed my, mine felt strong.

Might also want to invest in a set of SS brake lines.

Well I went through the brake lines and made sure everything was nice and torqued down and bled the system one more time. My brakes function, but I know they got more potential than what they're showing. I'm guessing I'm not bleeding the system correctly? Do I need to bleed each component (m/c, prop valve, lines) seperately or can I just do the standard bleeding at the 4 calipers(which is all I've done)? Also regarding the strange idle, my friend said that this type of problem is usually cause by the intake manifold. The brake booster has a hose which connects to the manifold so I'm guessing that this has to be the source of the problem. I'm gonna get my brake lines professionally bled tomorrow to make sure that isn't the source of any problem. I'll let you know if this solves any of my cars problems. If not, I'll be all out of ideas.
