Check Engine Light CEL error 41 help
What I mean is a let's say for a minute that the sensor is out of it's normal range say because it's aftermarket or because of the way it was spliced in.... If you cleared ecu memory and the light is off now, it doesn't mean it's fixed. It's a two trip code, meaning it takes more than one trip to turn on the light. Even more it needs to meet the monitor's enabling criteria before it will even monitor for a failure. Now that's 96-up. If it's a 95-under forget it, it could be out of range and it wouldn't know cause it only sees if the sensor is there or is switching.
