weird idle
k what you need to do is make sure your car is warmed up so that the radiator fans have come on atleast once. then with the car idling unplug the iacv wire. The car might stall. If it does start it again and level out the rpms at 1k and really slowly let your foot off the gas and the car will idle. make sure that your radio, headlights, fan whatever are all turned off. then adjust the idle speed screw on the throttle body. It uses a flat head drive to adjust it and its brass. in lowers idle out raises it. you want the car to be idling at about 500 rpm. then turn the car off, plug in the iacv again and reset your ecu. (either unplug the backup 7.5 amp fuse under the hood or just disconnect the battery for about 10 seconds. Then get back in the car and start it but dont push the gas pedal. it should idle on its own. let it idle for about aminute by itself and that is how you set your idle speed. It should now be idling arround 800 rpms. when warmed up.
