from what i have heard the B18's are a better platform for nitrous.

Yes let's hope. I will be putting my ZEX dry kit on soon, with the 55 shot jet. I have I/H/E/clutch/flywheel/plug wires and will be getting colder plugs too. Besides that, just the kit, bottle heater and pressure guage. I think I'll be alright with the stock ignition and fuel pump. My motor is still strong too, based on the track times I've been getting. What do you guys think? I just don't wanna blow my motor like forcfedcivic (by the way, sorry man that sucks).

Also, does anyone know what kind of blow down kit I need? I'm looking at the ZEX ones and they're for internal or external threaded safety ports...anyone know which one I need? Thanks.

Upgrade FPR to an adjustable one & bump up pressure for nitrous just to be safe. The zex computer is supposed to regulate it for you but i had a lil trouble for a while until i upgraded my fuel system.. i was runnin a 75shot on a d16z6 at the time tho...

A blowdown kit is only if you don't have a trunk i.e. u drive a CRX or hatch. You should be fine as long as you run the spray in moderation like no more then 15 second spurts at a time. I ran 2 bottles a week the whole summer a few years ago on i/h/e and i never had any problems. I had stock ignition, stock timing and just a zex kit @ 55 shot with the purge kit.

you might think enough people have commented on this, but i don't feel that way....pretty much everything has been covered in your skewed perspective of the automobile realm....i just hope you don't diss the wrong person's car and piss them off in the process...you might end up getting gang beaten...

I'm pretty sure it's a requirement for the track. And I technically DO have a hatchback, no trunk. Do you know if I need an internally or externally threaded blow down kit? I have NO idea. I'm not sure if it has to do with the car or on the bottle...
