A light when VTEC kicks in?

So if u just put the different coupler on then would that mess up the air flow Because the intake tube isnt the same size as the throttle body?

The CAI for the SI has 2 holes in it also. One for the air intake tempature sensor and one for the valve cover breather(I think it is called a PCV valve but I am not sure). Where as the EX only has one. Not sure for which though.

The short answer is yes, you're constricting flow to the engine. But would you notice a difference in performance? Probably not.

'02+ SI's have K20A3
'99-'00 SI's have B16A2
