I am trying out painting the plastic parts to see how is best, i am practicing on the black U pipe from the resonator. I bought Dupli - Color Aluminum (it matches the aem color perfectly) I did 3 coats and it kinda looks ok. I did learn one thing DON'T FORGET TO SAND!! some spots the paint kinda rolled off and didn't stick. tommarrow i will post pics. I hope that really coating your intake pipes really will help reduce the temp of inside air.

OSX,
any special methods to cleaning the engine bay? I was gonna go at it with simple green and use a pressure sprayer, carefully avoiding electrical connections. :chuckles:

Yeah, OSX's is pretty clean... I think I'm right there with him, though.

The two keys to a clean underhood? 1. Orange Blast. 2. Live in Cali.

Spray everything with simple green, and then get a hose or pressure washer. And if you have a short ram, you'd better take off the filter and stuff the pipe with towels or you'll be in trouble later.
