i thought you had to let the ecu reset it's self to the new amount of air coming in? Anyways i change my mind to much, now i'm going to make a homemade cai, i found this site and it tell you how to make it and it seems easy and it looks nice too. Well if anyone has anything to say, speak up. i'm going to home deopt in a few minuites to buy the stuff, only like 30 bucks or so since i have the cone filter. Oh and i got my resonator out, via taking off the wheel and the wheel well and some of the front bumber. it had one screw that was hidden from me and took me a while to find it, it looks so empty in my engine bay now.

Well here's my setup, Dr. Isotope has pretty much the same deal in his. The filter box is empty.
Total cost: less than $20.

Yep, my GFI (Ghetto Fabulous Intake) is pretty much the same as OSX's, only I have 2.5" aluminum top and bottom, salvaged from an old CAI. Works a charm.

If you're installing an intake on an obd2 car, you should reset it. But obd1 it really isn't an issue unless your idle gets all wacky. But all you're doing is forcing the car to learn it, instead of letting it do it over a little time.
