Woah woah woah, the resonator is easy to take out...just take off your bumper and it pulls right out the front.

A CAI would've had a much better effect on your powerband, as would even a stock intake with the resonator removed.

Now take the filter off the end of that shorty and plug the piping into your OEM airbox. You can either mod the box to fit the cone inside, or mount it below the box. Best of all worlds.

yes i have heard of people making a cover for their short ram... Maybe thrusday i will fiddle some more because i don't have class till 2 in the p.m. I'll take off my wheel well and cut it out like sxe said, and go to home depot or something like that and get some tube to put down there to suck up cold air. be my home made cai kinda short ram intake thingy. it will be SPLINDIFEROUS!

Ensure you know what you're cutting before you do it. You shouldn't have to do it. There's only a few screws holding it in place. It's a big black box down there. Don't hold me responsible if you fux0r it up.

whoever said the bumper is the way to do it is right on the money. Takes no time, easy to do, and you don't mess anything up...

I say, sell the intake, don't get a header, and go straight for boost.
