Being able to protest is allowable... however when you start disturbing and disregarding other people's rights you need to get your asses in check.

If these people were in front of your home, business, etc... I don't think you'd appreciate it if all of this was happening and the authorities didn't do a thing about it.

The bottom line is that no one would give a shit about a protest that doesn't disrupt anything. In order for the gov or even the people to take notice in a protest, that protest needs to be somewhat disruptive. Civil disobedience is based on that principal. Sit ins are based on that principal and countries have been freed based on that principal.

they got the people out of the park so they could clean it tark. what dont you understand about that? the private owners had that done. if you owned a piece of property and there were hundreds of people on it turning it into a mess you are telling me you wouldn't care?

they let the people in the next day. they are allowing them to protest. as far as i know, no one gives a shit about these people or take them seriously.

right, but these festivals you keep referencing are on property that they made arrangements to be at, were paid for and there are generally contracts and accepted rules of conduct. what we have here is totally different. no one is saying protesting cant happen but hundreds of people camping out for months at a time in a park and causing a general safety hazard with visible crime increase ...... well thats a totally different story.

if a guy sits down in the middle of the road you call him a fucking moron ... if he says its free speech we are supposed to allow it?

all the people claiming the actions of the govt are that of a police state or against free speech are just ignorant. Free speech is always guaranteed so long as it doesnt incite violence or cause a general safety concern to the population. you now have people in the movement, be it actual members or instigators, threatening to fire bomb banks and private businesses ... sounds like a good time to put a clamp on this free ranging movement to me
