This is ridiculous. If anything I could see a ceiling on the amount of sodium in a dish (outback steakhouse has something that is like 4000mg of sodium), but even that is ridiculous.

High end steak places would go under since salt is integral to bringing out the juices and keeping the meat perfect. Felix Ortiz is an idiot. This would not bring in any revenue from fines, and would cripple the economy more than anything.

I always get the unsalted ones... because i like to add the salt myself and because they are made on the spot and warm.

when you got the unsalted ones there really is a huge difference, i mean sure you get a lil from moving from fryer to tray but its nothing like what the ones under the warmer have

if it got passed, the majority of places would just pay the fine when they get caught. Like it was already stated, no one is going to go into every single restaurant especially in a place as big as NYC
