HOLY FUCKING GORGEOUS!!!! I started today and the damn this is gorgeous...just got past "chapter 1" as I am going to call it. Can't wait to get in further.

 

gave this game a good run over the weekend.

Like:
It's visually stunning.

Soundtrack is nothing short of a masterpiece.

The auto battle for the team members is pretty nifty.

Dislike:
I miss towns.

I'm not a fan of the level limiting per chapter. If I want to grind and level up, I should be able to.

Trying to follow the story for the first few hours. Talk about being dropped into a situation.

The constant cut scenes. There was one sequence where I was 2 specific characters for 40 seconds, then cut scene, off to play as another group.

 

I agree with all your likes

1. Love the in-game ATB system. Faster battles FTW.
2. The para system took a bit getting used to but they're pretty useful
3. Full HP at the end of a fight

Do not like

1. Arms look like crap on the character
2. Camera can be a bit iffy at times
3. Some summons gestalt mode are so so
4. Monsters don't drop enough money or items....or maybe because I haven't made it past that forest after the junkyard area....

And you can actually grind if you know the trick. Certain save points will re-spawn monsters! You can go back track and still fight monsters for CP's.

 

i read that after chapter 10 is when you can do a ton of side quests and choose your own party.

took a break since i have a shit ton of school work to do this week.

 

Nevermind...I guess I am on Chapter 3.

 

Here is another plus:

No more random encounters. You know when you are about to battle and what you are about to battle.

 

Odin is a cocksucker. That is all.
