Default question for gun crew

Can you be licensed CCW in two states.

I have a CCW for the state of FL.

Can I also have one for the state of PA?

I know I cant transport the weapon across state lines but, since my drivers license is issued from the state of FL, would PA or any other state honor it?

Some states have reciprocity. Others do not. This site is your best bet:

If pa will issue non resident permits then you can get one. Other states do honor FLs permit. Check the site linked above.

Also, I don't know why you think you can't transport guns across state lines. Just be wary of the laws of the state in which you are traveling though or into so you know how and where the gun can be kept in your vehicle.

Your Florida CCW is as close to a nation wide CCW as you can get.

Well, i think there is one state with more reciprocity, but FL is pretty good.

If you have your gun and ammo in two separate, locked boxes that are in a compartment separate from the driver (ie. the trunk) and not in the glove box or console, then I'd say you're pretty safe and law enforcement shouldn't give you any shit about it as long as you are licensed to own it.

This includes having no ammo in any mags or speed loaders either.

I have my CCW in Colorado (home state) and Utah. The state has to be willing to issue to non-residents, and sometimes states won't allow a resident to use a non-resident permit -- i.e. my Utah CCW won't let me carry in my home state of Colorado because I'm not a resident of Utah.
