I have my CCW in Colorado (home state) and Utah. The state has to be willing to issue to non-residents, and sometimes states won't allow a resident to use a non-resident permit -- i.e. my Utah CCW won't let me carry in my home state of Colorado because I'm not a resident of Utah.
