How is the experience doing an all inclusive type vacation? Holla

I've been to three different ones, usually pretty good. The foods not bad, just remember to reserve the sit-down restaurants on your first day (have to do it a couple of days in advance). The shows are different every night. And its perfect if you're going to lounge and drink your liver to shit.

The rooms are normally uncomfortable because: they have to have beds that survive a tropical climate, you never spend time in your room, its always kinda wet and sandy everywhere. Oh yeah, try not to get a ground floor room either because of flooding and bugs. Other than that, you can get a cover for your mattress to make it more comfortable (ask at the front desk, should be free).

I stayed at one in Jamaica, Playa Del Carmen, and the Dominican Republic.

i found that all inclusives are great if you wanna go on a vacation where you sit around and get wasted all day ... which in its own right is a blast because there are usually plenty of hotties around.

but if you want a real adventurous vacation where you do tons of local stuff ... plan something else imo. the resorts try and keep you on property from my experience

that said, i'd have no problem doin an all-inclusive again as basically you cut your expenses on trip in half since you no longer have to worry about meals and booze lol

All your typical travel sites like Expedia, Orbitz, etc will have vacation packages. Decent starting point.

Most of my experience with them was when I was a kid, my family went to a few all-inclusive resorts. All the kids like 13-16 would be cooped up in the resort but would usually get served booze so lots of shenanigans.

Like others have said you basically bum around the resort and eat and drink yourself silly. You can also sign up for other activities out of the resort but those cost extra. So as long as your main goal is to be somewhere warm with nothing much to do it works pretty great.

been on a few. Definitely worth it if you're the type to drink a lot on vacation. The food is pretty meh, and you'll probably want to go out for food once a day. But if you just want to hang out and relax at the beach, I think it's a good way to go. You don't have to worry about a thing

if youre looking for pussy, free drinks and more then just the pool then dont do a cruise. But on my cruise we stopped at Nassau, St-thomas and St Maartin. I can tell you that if i wanted to go to a all inclusive i'd check St-Maartin. It was just awesome.

I've also been to Cuba and i would day hands down the best all inclusive i've been too... but it might be a bit too expensive for you to go north in order to go to Cuba.
