gingivitis, I had that before because I was using a stupid ass ELECTRIC tooth brush. Ever since I switched to a soft Tooth brush, the bleeding went away. Flossing 1-2 times a day also helps.

Could be signs of periodontal disease. I have it and my gums used to bleed a lot. Ask your dentist about it, you may need to get the roots of your teeth planed. Then regular cleanings every six months. I use a Sonicare Toothbrush with a small head, and haven't had trouble since I started using it. Plus flossing.
