Afternoon for me.

If I work out in the morning, I crash in the afternoon.

If I work out in the evening, I'm usually up until 2am :eek3:

If I work out in the afternoon, I can still go to bed at a decent time.

Whateva, I think I'm gonna quit the gym to force myself to surf.

I run in the morning and lift weights at night.

I tried lifting in the morning for a while...it didn't work out too well, I had zero energy to get anything done.

I prefer the evening. Plus its the only time I can fit it into day cause the gym I use doesn't open early enough.

For me the optimal time is the afternoon. That is when I have the most energy, but unfortunately I work almost everyday until 6 pm So I workout at 9 or 10 at night on the weekdays. Most of the time I don't want to workout because I've already eaten a big dinner and i'm ready to go to sleep

Workout in the morning and I'm energized until around dinner when digestion of meal tires me out.

I know someone that works out in the morning and crashes in the late afternoon... And I also know someone that works out at night but can't sleep until early in the morning..

So it looks like the afternoon is a good time...

I would say afternoon.

I had read or seen some material saying the body is at peak "performance" during the early afternoon hours. They stated that the vast majority of World Records have been set at this time. They also did studies having people work out in the morning vs. afternoon with similar results.
