i used to never wear it but got into the habit and now never don't. personally if it's my time to die i figure i'm going to die whether i'm wearing it or not so why not at least slightly increase my chances.

and lots of idiots don't realize that even at low speeds impact collisions can occur that can very much so be fatal.

 

The people that don't wear them all the time, why not? Its not hurting you at all. 99 times out of 100 it will save your life. Sure there is that 1 time where it will hurt you more than help you, but I'd take that chance. It takes 2 seconds to buckle up. The only time I don't wear mine is if I'm in my driveway and not going onto the street at all(like just rearranging cars). Even going 15-25 mph it can save you from more injuries.

 

When I worked on the ranch I hardly ever wore my seatbelt mainly because you get in and out of the truck all the time opening gates or having to check on something. Then you go home and don't even think about the seatbelt not being on.

Now I feel naked without one on even moving from space to space around my house.

 

I always wear it, and if someone is in my car he buckles up or he gets out.

In for feeling naked without a seat belt. It just doesn't feel right. There was an Indy driver when I was a kid, who did a commercial about seatbelt safety. He said he wouldn't drive 40ft in a car without his seatbelt. It made an impression on me.

 

To tell you the truth, if I had wore a seatbelt with all the accidents i've been in, i would have been hurt. I've been in four accidents with no seatbelts and i came out with no problems.
