cops here dont even enforce it ... you roll up next to them at a light they look over and they never stop you. im like 75/25 when it comes to wearing it. usually do but sometimes i just dont

 

I only wear them when I can't stand the annoying beep anymore or when I feel there is a random police check I don't know why I don't wear seatbelts as much because it doesn't bother me.

All the accidents I've been in, i didn't wear a seat belt and i came out unscathed :rick:

 

seatbelt saved my ass a few times so i try to wear one most of the time

 

lulz ... if im driving the escape its the same way, damn thing constantly beeps. freeway i always have the belt on but around town eff that, i only toss it on if i see a cop rolling up

 

Just another source of revenue and/or pc to pull someone over. What a waste of advertising money. Might as well start a nation wide campaign for brushing teeth. Come on people, we get it. Jesus Christ.

The cops here don't pull you over for it. But if they pull you over for something else, it's their judgment call to give you a seat belt ticket or not.

 

i lknow a couple of guys who dont for comfort. one of them is kinda plump.

speaking of revenue generators i got a no front plate ticket yesterday and im not saying im not in the wrong but is it really worth the salary of 2 pd cops and whoever to sign off on it to spend 15-20 mins on a $25 fixit ticket?

 

so you're saying they should charge you 300 dollars?

 

i personally buckle up, but if you don't want to i don't see a problem with that

 

It's better than them sitting around eating doughnuts, or tasing people for their speech.
