iPod Touch untethered
yeah I did. Gonna go dl it again and mess with it since I have time right now. I really would like to be able to file apps away as described, I hate screen scrolling to find the app I want.

But a rundown on how to mod the text would be awesome I may end up turning the slider back on if it works

Un-unlock simply hides the slider from view but it is still there. Kind of like "invisible docking"

Step 1:
Either download and unzip then edit the attachment, or do the following.
Open a text editor and paste the following inside
You can then change the "enter text here" to whatever you want(You MUST keep the quotations)
Step 2:
Save as 'SpringBoard.strings' It must be that exactly. Do not have it be a .txt file.
Step 3:
Open a SSH connection with your device. Browse to /var/stash In the stash folder there should be another folder called Themes.abunchofrandomshit Open that folder. In there create a new folder called 'Slider Text'. In that folder, create a new folder called 'Bundles'. In that folder create another new folder called 'com.apple.springboard' and inside that folder make a new folder called 'en.lproj'. I'm assuming english is set as the default language, if not change the en to whatever language it is. fr for french, etc.
The folder path should be /var/stash/Themes.9tKkit/Slider%20Text/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/en.lproj
Step 4:
Copy your SpringBoard.strings file into that final folder. You can close your SSH connection now.
Step 5:
Now open up Winterboard on your iPod/iPhone and scroll to Slider Text. Check it and close the app. Your device should respring. If it doesn't reboot it and your slider texts should work!
