I think this hack actually runs a little smoother than the tethered model did. Might be how the hack is applied or something but couldn't say for sure.

i don't really see a need to download torrents on my ipod touch.

do i have to use itunes with my touch if i jailbreak it? because if i don't, i'm doin' that shit tomorrow h:

 

You can still use iTunes just fine...or Winamp or a number of other programs out there. But you can also root in through SSH and directly modify the files or create applications etc.

I dunno I use iTunes to load my music and vids but that's about it aside from buying a movie now and again.

 

since i got my mac, i've been using itunes. it runs a lot better on computer than it did on my hp, but i still don't really like it.

maybe i'll give jailbreaking it next week, not like i have anything else to do :wtc:

 

Winterboard alone makes it worth doing, but once you get into the Cydia downloader you are gonna find all kinds of neat stuff to do with it.

Winterboard you can load mods for the look of your desktop/battery charge/docking etc including video backgrounds.

Cydia is a fileshare program to get themes, apps and dev tools. There are a couple different ones you can use for it.

I haven't gotten trying the torrents yet but it sounds interesting.

 

I heard somewhere that you can sync songs over wifi with SSH. I haven't tried it yet.


Yeah I haven't done a torrent yet, but I saw that you could. I doubt I ever will.

 

I think each program has to set up horizontal keyboards. Most have it. Notes doesn't, but there are a few 3rd party notes that have horizontal keyboards.
