Time for lobster
I wanna eat a Jay's house :yumyum:
I was the guy at Gladstone's that would pull live lobster from the tank. Things I learned:
Half ounces count. Big difference between 2.4lbs and 2.0lbs
Lobsters > 5lbs can have chewier meat. You have to cut the tail meat into tiny pieces or face gumming it like octopus.
Oh... And squeeze the claws when they pull them from the tank. Soft claws = sick lobster. Grab a feisty one too. Lazy lobsters are dying and should be used for lobster pasta toppings. o:

Gotta love Lobster - where I live, we are surrounded by fishing (living on an Island and all). And Lobster is a summer treat. However, back in the day it was a poor man's food. Not so much now... It also goes well in a stir-fry. And fresh cooked (as Jay did) is always better than buying it cooked.
I love lobster, its too expensive where I live now so I have it whenever I visit home in New England.
the best way to cook a lobster.....nuke em.
use the bag they give you to put the lobster in, take off his rubber bands, put some water in the bad, stab a few holes into the bag, use the claw band to cinch up the top and put the timer on for 7 minutes on high. sounds crazy, but it comes out perfect, taste great and non of the mess with boiling the guy. I've been nuking them since I was in middle school. thats how legal seafood cooks them in their resturaunt in Boston and thats where I learned that little trick.
