maybe he wasn't resisting, but he wasn't compliant. but the cop royally fucked up though, no reason to shoot the kid.
maybe not resisting but we have all seen how officers get sometimes when they try and cuff you.
anyone would resit a little when they pull your arm too far back. you can see the guy had his hands up when he was against the wall...
An accident? How the fuck does that look like an accident?
Aren't tasers kept in the back of the belt? I don't think he meant to go for his taser. His face didn't show surprise when he shot at all.
No Tasers are kept where the Officer wants it. Some keep them in front of or behind their weapon (Which is dumb), but most Officers keep it on the the opposite side of their weapon. You don't put anything on the back of your belt except for your disposable gloves

Nothing should be kept on the back of the belt. Gloves would be one exception maybe.
When I saw the video I could see the guy trying to get up when the officer was on top f him so to me he was clearly resisting. As far as drawing the gun over a taser I dont know. I like to think I could tell right away what I was drawing but in the heat of shit hitting the fan your instincts take over. It was turning into a mob sitaution as well so you're on guard from all directions. I know the majority of the board is "Fuck cops their bullies and corrupt" or whatever. The officer looked to me like he was telling him to lay on the ground and the guy was putting his hands up instead of just getting on the ground like he was being told. Officers are going to be on guard off the bat because there was a fight on the train with multiple subject and it was on NYE so you know they're probably intoxicated. Not to mention there was a large crowd gathered and throwing objects at the officers. Its easy to take a side and say what you want. Not saying what happened was justified or right but know all the facts before you start casting stones
