CuppyCake - only the base model has no hdd

And obviously they're going to promote the price of the base model in ads (starting at only $xxx,99)
It's just marketing

There's actually alot of belief out there that Blu Rays will phase out. At $25+ for a movie the price is a little steep. They need to find a compromise between DVD price and BR prices while maintaining an HD picture

DVDs cost more than that when they first came out.
Even CDs were $20+ back in the day.

I dont remember paying that much for them ever. I know when I buy movies its tough for me to justify paying the money for a BR when thesame movie on DVD is half the price. Only BR's I've bought really have been on sale for $20 with the exception of The Kingdom that I paid $25 for because its such a great flick
