i think the main proble is that online multi gaming is really popular these days. Not only does PS3 online suck tis he x360 is more popular. I also think the PS3 freaking complicated! Plus the headset quality sucks! The frequent upgrades are annoying as fuck.

I think its stupid how xbox now sells the console for cheaper...but you need to buy the harddrive separate. Its almost like they want you to think it's cheaper to buy one....when in reality, it's about the same price as it was when you got everything together....

 

I'm just speaking from what I've read and heard...I have yet to actually play one. I think a price drop would help to make the console more accessible to everyone.

I'm optimistic about it's future, especially as Blu-Ray becomes the gold standard for home movie viewing.

This sums it up really.

Current library for the PS3 sucks, but if you could at least use it for your PS2 and PS games it would make it worthwhile to own and eliminate the PS2 from your lineup altogether.

As it stands there isn't enough reason to buy it aside from being a BR player which is the last reason I would buy a game system

 

Now that Netflix and downloading your games to your HDD have arrived, I think it's a good idea that they sell the HDD's separate so you can pick your poison. They also have the different versions of XBOX's with varying HDD's for this reason.

They said they might bring PS2 games to the PSN store but I understand the lack of Backwards Compatibility, mine has it =X
