Some people can't get pass the gamey taste to those types fowls....
Sometimes they eat some funky shit in the wild and you can taste it h:

dude dummy hens are the funniest shit ever ... out west when we go hunting we can walk right up to them and pop em with a branch ... or walk up stick a gun in their face and shoot em... sooo fucking dumb birds

brining isn't just to add moisture...it's to add flavor to the meat as well. I've brined chicken before deep frying and it's a world of difference from regular fried chicken...I'm sure it's the same concept for turkey.


And turkey cooked in the oven oven only dries out when it's overcooked.

We deep fry a turkey with no flavoring. Maybe a little cajun seasoning, but rarely. It tastes so good anyway. We tried injecting seasoning but it just stayed in one spot and we didn't want to inject it a 100 times.

the trick is to stick the injector in and press it as you pull it out
