so I was sort of bad the other day, with the 2 conversion kits I have on the way I wanted to be able to use both at the range and not have to transform every time so I went out to basspro and picked up another Sig p250. I just love the way the gun shoots so I figured I'll just have one as .40 full time and I have the other one to change from full size to compact and eventually subcompact. I think in December I'll branch out and get another brand gun, I'm really digging the HK p2000 and the Beretta storm is pretty sweet too.
I still like honda's. :-/

Story goes like this: Freind having one last party before he moves out of his trailer to his house. My other friend is there that works at the local hunting shop. I say to him, "this is probably a dumb question but when you think you will get any more ARs in?" He says we have 3 and tells me one is the DPMS Sportical that i wanted to buy. So i was there at 9 when they opened to meet him and buy it. They only had cheap red dots there so i just bought a $30 dollar BSA for now and he charged me for 40 boxes of .223 when i bought a whole case. Sighted it in and shot a few mags through it and i love it.
So now i need better optics but seeing how this is a $700 AR i don't want a $300 red dot. Any reccommendations? Been looking at Tru Glo's. Also the red dot is a little low being mounted directly to the flat top. Any sort of 1/2" or so riser? Little help Spanks???

$700 ar is gonna shoot just as good as the $1500 Ar ... spend the money, get a good sight, you wont regret it

A good alternative to EoTechs are the holosights sights from Bushnell. They are the same thing, except the EoTechs are more tough. I've had mine for a few years. I will post a review when I use it
