Joined the AR krew yesterday!!!!

Story goes like this: Freind having one last party before he moves out of his trailer to his house. My other friend is there that works at the local hunting shop. I say to him, "this is probably a dumb question but when you think you will get any more ARs in?" He says we have 3 and tells me one is the DPMS Sportical that i wanted to buy. So i was there at 9 when they opened to meet him and buy it. They only had cheap red dots there so i just bought a $30 dollar BSA for now and he charged me for 40 boxes of .223 when i bought a whole case. Sighted it in and shot a few mags through it and i love it.

So now i need better optics but seeing how this is a $700 AR i don't want a $300 red dot. Any reccommendations? Been looking at Tru Glo's. Also the red dot is a little low being mounted directly to the flat top. Any sort of 1/2" or so riser? Little help Spanks???
